Mucin-like glycoprotein found on surface of human tumour cells (also known as CA antigen) but not non-tumorigenic cell lines. It is present on the surface of some specialized cells (sweat glands, Type II pneumocytes from lung, bladder epithelium) and may therefore be a normal differentiation antigen Also present in normal urine.
